Acceptable use policy

AcrossView exists to help people. Using it to deceive or harm them ends your access and may be reported to the police.

Effective 9 October 2026

You must not use AcrossView to

  • connect to a computer without the clear permission of the person responsible for it, or keep a session going after they ask you to stop;
  • pretend to be a bank, the police, a government office, a courier, a utility, a company or any person you are not;
  • obtain passwords, OTPs, PINs, card details or money by deception, or move money without the account holder's informed instruction;
  • install malware, spyware or anything the owner of the computer has not agreed to;
  • harass, threaten, extort or spy on anyone, or share content that is illegal in India;
  • disrupt meetings you were not invited to, or send spam;
  • get around our security, limits or access controls, test them without our written permission, or overload the service;
  • resell or rebrand AcrossView without an agreement with us.

What we do about misuse

  • We withdraw access keys and accounts used for misuse.
  • We keep the relevant connection records and give them to the police and other authorities when the law allows or requires.
  • We report fraud to the national cyber-crime reporting portal.

Report misuse

If someone used AcrossView to deceive you or someone you know, tell us the AcrossView ID and the date and time. If money was lost, first call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in. See Stay safe from scams.
