Remote support

See their screen in seconds. No installs, no accounts for them.

The person who needs help opens a page in their browser and reads you a number. You see exactly what they see, talk them through it, and with the Windows app, take the mouse yourself.

For the person who needs help

  1. Open acrossview.com/share in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a computer.
  2. Read the 9-digit ID on the screen to the person helping you.
  3. When their request appears, check the name, read the warning, and press Allow after the short countdown.
  4. Choose what to share: the whole screen, one window, or one browser tab.
  5. Check that the security code on your screen matches theirs.

You can end the session at any time with one button, and your browser shows that sharing is on for as long as it is.

For the person helping

  1. Open acrossview.com/connect and enter their ID, your name and your access key.
  2. Wait while they approve. You see their screen as soon as they do.
  3. Read your security code aloud; theirs must be the same.
  4. Talk, turn on your camera, or chat while their screen fills your window.
  5. If they run the Windows app and allow it, press the pointer button and work on their computer directly.

During early access, helping needs an access key. Ask for one.

What a support session includes

Screen view

Sharp text over smooth motion, tuned for documents and software rather than video.

Mouse and keyboard

With the Windows app. Keys follow the customer's own keyboard layout, including Hindi InScript.

Voice, camera and chat

Talk while you work. Chat is sealed end to end and cannot be forged by anyone in between.

Computer sound

In Chrome and Edge the customer can share their computer's sound too, without your voice echoing back.

Security code

Six digits on both screens. If they match, nobody is in the middle of your session.

The customer stays in charge

They approve first, choose what to share, can switch control off, and can end it whenever they like.
