Terms of service
Plain terms for using AcrossView. The most important one: only connect to a computer when its owner has asked you to.
Effective 9 October 2026
1. These terms
AcrossView is operated by Amit Goyal, Faridabad, Haryana, India ("we", "us"). By using acrossview.com, the AcrossView pages for sharing, connecting and meeting, or the AcrossView app ("AcrossView"), you agree to these terms, the Acceptable use policy and the Privacy policy.
2. Early access
AcrossView is in early access. It is free, features may change or be removed, and there is no service-level guarantee. We will give notice on this website before introducing charges, and paid plans will have their own terms.
3. Who may use AcrossView
You must be 18 or older, or use AcrossView with a parent or guardian present. You must follow the laws of India and of the place where you are.
4. Permission comes first
You may connect to a computer only when the person responsible for it has asked for your help or has otherwise given you clear permission, and only for as long as they allow. Whatever you do on another person's computer is your responsibility.
5. Access keys and accounts
Access keys are personal. Keep yours secret and tell us at once if you think someone else has it. We may suspend or withdraw a key at any time, in particular if it is misused.
6. The software
AcrossView, including the Windows app, is © 2026 Amit Goyal, all rights reserved. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it as offered. You may not copy, modify, resell, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this regardless. Third-party components in it are used under their own licences.
7. No warranty
AcrossView is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it secure and reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of AcrossView. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for AcrossView in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Suspension and ending
You can stop using AcrossView at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the Acceptable use policy, or if the law requires it.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Faridabad, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have by law.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change, and significant changes will be announced on this website. Questions: contact us.
