A free AnyDesk alternative, made in India
If AnyDesk started showing "commercial use detected", cut your sessions short, or you simply do not want your customers installing a program from a scam warning, AcrossView does the same job another way: the other person opens a web page, and the session is encrypted end to end.
Why people switch
No personal-use rule
Help your customers, your office or your family. There is no detection that decides you are a business and stops the session.
Nothing for them to install
They open acrossview.com/share, read you a 9-digit number, press Allow. The Windows app is only for mouse and keyboard control.
End-to-end encrypted
Keys made on the two devices, a security code on both screens, and servers in Mumbai that cannot see the screen.
₹0 today
15 minutes a session without an account, 60 with a free one. The same features for everyone.
Built for the scam problem
A warning in Hindi and English before every session, the 1930 helpline, and no session without a press of Allow.
Meetings in the same place
Video meetings for up to 100 people with AI notes, team chat and booking pages, under the same sign-in.
What you keep from AnyDesk, and what you do not
You keep the things a technician uses every day: connecting by ID, unattended access with a password per computer, an address book with online dots, file transfer with a two-pane manager, a shared clipboard both ways, full screen, several monitors, and recording a session. Sessions open in their own window, so several can run at once.
You do not get, yet: control of Mac, Linux and phones (viewing works everywhere through the browser), remote printing, or a code-signed installer, so Windows SmartScreen asks once before the first run. The full comparison is at AcrossView vs AnyDesk.
How a session goes
- Your customer opens acrossview.com/share, or runs the Windows app if you will need control.
- They read you the 9-digit ID. You enter it at acrossview.com/connect with your name.
- They see your name and a warning, and press Allow. You see their screen.
- You both check the six-digit security code. Then you talk, point, type, send files.
Computers you look after regularly get an unattended-access password; then you connect from your address book without anyone pressing Allow. See the guide.
Questions
Does AcrossView work alongside AnyDesk?
Yes. Nothing conflicts; you can keep AnyDesk installed while you try AcrossView with a few customers.
Will AcrossView stay free?
The free tier stays, with its session time limits. Paid accounts will remove the time limit and keep recordings longer; we have not set their prices yet and will publish them on Pricing first.
Can I connect from my phone?
You can watch a customer's screen, talk and chat from a phone browser. Controlling their mouse and keyboard needs a computer on your side for now.
