TeamViewer alternative

A free TeamViewer alternative, made in India

TeamViewer's business plans are priced for companies with fleets of devices and teams of technicians. If you are one person, a small IT shop, or an office that needs to help a few customers a day, AcrossView does the job for ₹0, with nothing for the other person to install.

Why people switch

No licence to count

No per-user fee, no device cap, no limit on parallel sessions. Free for business use today.

Nothing for them to install

Your customer opens acrossview.com/share and reads you a number. The Windows app is only for control.

End-to-end encrypted, always

Not an option on a higher plan: every support session, with a security code on both screens.

Servers in Mumbai

Connection records stay in India; the content of a session is never stored anywhere.

Support on WhatsApp

+91 70117 27706, answered from Faridabad in Hindi or English. No ticket queue.

Meetings included

Video meetings for up to 100 people with recording and AI notes, team chat, webinars, booking pages.

What you keep from TeamViewer, and what you do not

You keep connecting by ID, unattended access (with a password per computer, working at the sign-in screen and after a restart when the app runs as a service), an address book with online dots, a two-pane file manager with folders and no size limit, a shared clipboard both ways, full screen, several monitors, and session recording on the customer's side.

You do not get, yet: control of Mac, Linux and phones (viewing works everywhere through the browser), device management for large fleets, ticketing integrations, or a code-signed installer, so Windows SmartScreen asks once before the first run. The full comparison is at AcrossView vs TeamViewer.

How a session goes

  1. Your customer opens acrossview.com/share, or runs the Windows app if you will need control.
  2. They read you the 9-digit ID. You enter it at acrossview.com/connect with your name.
  3. They see your name and a warning, and press Allow. You see their screen.
  4. You both check the six-digit security code. Then you talk, point, type, send files.

Questions

Is there a catch to "free for business"?

Only the time limit: 15 minutes a session without an account, 60 with a free account. Paid accounts will remove it; their prices are not set yet and will appear on Pricing first.

Can my whole team use one account?

Each technician signs in with their own email; teams share an address book and chat. There is no per-seat charge today.

Does it work on slow connections?

The screen is sent with a codec tuned for sharp text; on a slow mobile connection it drops frames rather than quality. It needs an internet connection on both sides; there is no LAN-only mode yet.
